ABOUT THE POSITION AND WHO WILL BEST FILL IT  

We are looking for an Outreach Specialist with at least 2 years experience and who has gotten results in the past. We believe this is a huge predictor of success and a key quality we’re looking for. We want to work with someone who can do email outreach to different marketing niches for our business, assist in promoting our content through email outreach, podcast booking outreach, link-building, and contribute to our content strategy in general.

The person we want to hire must have proven experience in growing traffic via content marketing/promotion in the past (and have actually gotten results). Having knowledge of digital marketing is a plus.

This person will promote our content through email outreach. He/she will search for the contact person’s email address from the websites/companies we feature or mention in our articles and email the contact person informing them that their company/website was mentioned/featured in our latest article with the objective that these companies will share/promote our article.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Read our training, collaborate / delegate to other team members, and follow our processes.
• Research businesses in different market niches, especially cleaning service companies.
• Search for the contact person’s email address from the websites/companies we feature or mention in our articles.
• Email the contact person informing them that their company/website was mentioned/featured in our latest article and reply to the emails as they come in.
• Research contact persons for podcast bookings.
• Search, identify and reach out to relevant websites for link-building.
• Attend daily sync-ups at 10:30am EST through Skype and weekly video calls on Wednesdays at 3:00pm EST and participate with constructive ideas.
• Fill out a daily and/or weekly checklist.

REQUIREMENTS  

• Must have a reliable, stable internet connection
• Must have experience in research and email outreach and have gotten results in the past
• Must complete a preliminary 2-week training
• A PLUS if you have any other digital marketing experience (selling info products, lead gen for services businesses)
• Good communication skills
• Must be friendly, diligent, and enjoy working within a proven process
• Must be comfortable working virtually and being self-directed
• Must be available to work during normal business hours i.e. between 9am -5pm EST (New York Time)
• Training is included, but it is expected that the applicant has experience and has gotten results for past clients.
