AutoGrow seeks to hire 1 amazing person for the role of Marketing Automation Expert (we internally call it the Applications or Apps Manager).  

We are looking to hire an expert who understands how to set up, configure, and maintain marketing apps such as Leadpages, Zapier, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Drip, Zoom, Wordpress, Samcart, Stripe and more.  

If you don't understand how to use a new marketing app, you should be the type of person who can fiddle with it (without breaking anything) and figure it out.  

Studies show that diligence (caring about your work, about the details, about the customers and business) is the best predictor of success.  

We want to work with someone who is diligent as well as excited to take ownership of this role.  

To be successful in this position, you must work within the process we have already laid out, you must be interested in improving the process over time, and you must be consistent in your work ethic.  


  • Implement the requested changes by logging into client’s accounts via Last Pass.  
  • Configure, update, and maintain marketing apps. 
  • Connect marketing apps together as described in the request. 
  • Communicate with the developer and/or Project Manager if something is broken or needs some code / development work.  
  • Publish our articles in Wordpress 2x a week, and set up and schedule the newsletters in Active Campaign.  
  • Update the pages and reminder emails for our weekly webinars and their corresponding automation in Active Campaign.  
  • Brainstorm ideas to give clients a better experience.  
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager when the needs arise (e.g. requesting for the login details of the apps, clarifying something).  
  • Attend team sync-ups daily at 10:30 am EST and communicate with team members to accomplish marketing plans’ goals.  
  • Attend weekly team meetings on Wednesdays at 3:00pm EST and participate with constructive ideas.  
  • Learn from and maintain your checklists and documentation up to date to maximize results, save time, and avoid mistakes.  


  • A positive, positive, enthusiastic attitude with good organizational skills.  
  • In-depth experience working with a variety of interfaces and marketing apps.  
  • Good spatial reasoning skills (for planning out workflows and automation sequences).  
  • Detail-oriented.  
  • Must complete a preliminary 2-week training .
  • Enjoys working following a process, and has problem-solving mindset, especially when the answer isn't immediately clear.  
  • Quality checks their own work (attention to DETAILS is super important).  
  • Must be available for weekly team calls and contribute with ideas for how to improve your workflow, and the company in general.  
  • Client-focused but also able to follow specific directions every week via our checklists, templates, and other instructional media used to operate the business.
